August in Ibiza: how slot constraints actually play out at IBZ
Why the difference between a smooth turn and a four hour wait, in peak season, is rarely the aircraft.

Cessna Citation XLS+ indicative pricing, capability and spec for private jet London to Ibiza charter, sourced from audited AOC operators by our partner brokers.
The Citation XLS+ is the workhorse of the Mayfair-to-Ibiza weekend. More XLS-family airframes have been built than any other business jet in history, and the reason is plainly visible on the LON to IBZ sector: it lifts seven adults out of Farnborough, climbs through the London terminal area inside fifteen minutes, and lands at IBZ a touch over two hours later, all while costing a meaningful step less than the midsize cabins above it. For couples and small parties travelling out on a Friday and back on a Sunday, it is almost always the right call. The cabin is a touch narrower than a Praetor 500 or a Challenger, but at this sector length the difference is academic. What matters is the speed of the turn at both ends and the consistency of the ride.
Choose the XLS+ over a Phenom 300E if you value the slightly larger cabin and longer track record on the route, and you are not prioritising the absolute lowest indicative price. Step up to a Praetor 500 if you have seven or eight passengers with significant baggage, or if you want a flat-floor cabin and stand-up height for the full sector.
Seven club-four plus jump seat configuration is standard, with a forward galley, an enclosed aft lavatory, and 80 cubic feet of external baggage hold accessible airside. The hold takes a normal weekend load (roll-aboards, two larger cases, a soft bag) without trouble; pets travel in the cabin where regulations permit. Catering is loaded at the FBO and the partner-broker desk will respect specific allergens and a wine list if briefed in advance.
Farnborough is the default. Biggin Hill works well for passengers coming from south or southeast London and avoids the Hyde Park Corner queue. Luton suits early morning departures or anything where 24/7 operations matter. At the Ibiza end the aircraft parks on the private apron and clears customs through the VIP terminal.
