Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 April 2026

This is a plain-English summary of how we handle personal data on privatejetlondontoibiza.com. It will be replaced with a solicitor-reviewed notice before public launch if required.

1. Who we are

privatejetlondontoibiza.com ("we", "us", "the site") is a charter comparison and referral site for private jet charter between London and Ibiza. We are the data controller for personal data submitted through this site.

Contact for data matters: hello@privatejetlondontoibiza.com.

2. What we collect

When you submit a quote request or empty-leg enquiry, we collect:

  • Your name and contact details (email, phone if provided)
  • Travel details (route, dates, party size, aircraft preferences, special requests)
  • Anything you choose to include in the free-text message field

When you email us directly we receive your email address and the content of your message. We do not run any third-party analytics, advertising or behavioural tracking on this site at present.

3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To respond to your enquiry and route it to a partner broker - lawful basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
  • To improve the editorial content of the site - lawful basis: our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) in understanding which routes, aircraft and dates enquirers ask about, in aggregate.
  • To meet legal, accounting and anti-fraud obligations - lawful basis: compliance with a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).

4. Who we share it with

Quote requests are forwarded to a small panel of audited UK partner brokers who hold the relevant operator relationships and, where applicable, FCA-regulated permissions. The broker then contacts you directly and contracts with you directly.

We may also share data with:

  • Our email and form-handling providers (data processors only)
  • Professional advisors (accountants, solicitors) where strictly necessary
  • Regulators or law-enforcement bodies where legally required

We do not sell personal data to anyone, and we do not pass it to operators or brokers outside the audited partner panel without your explicit instruction.

5. International transfers

Where a partner broker or processor is based outside the UK or EEA, we rely on UK International Data Transfer Agreements, Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision, as appropriate.

6. How long we keep it

  • Quote enquiries that do not lead to a booking: up to 12 months, then deleted.
  • Enquiries that lead to a booking: up to 6 years, to meet UK accounting and tax obligations.
  • Empty-leg watch-list registrations: until you ask us to remove you, or after 24 months of inactivity.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Have inaccurate data corrected
  • Request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict or object to certain processing
  • Receive your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw any consent you have given, at any time

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@privatejetlondontoibiza.com. We will respond within one calendar month.

8. Cookies and tracking

The site currently uses only the strictly-necessary cookies required for core page functionality (for example, remembering that you have closed a modal). We do not run advertising cookies, behavioural tracking or third-party analytics at this time. If that changes, this notice will be updated and a cookie-consent control will be added.

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

10. Changes to this notice

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
